Plumage headbands, all the rage on Urban Outfitters were once an overinflated avant garde accessory, deamed strictly unreasonable in "real life" (Prada turbans anyone?) However, feathered hair accessories are currently gracing the pages of this month's issue of Nylon and editorials in fashion publications everywhere. Pluma Shop.com (featured in Nylon) now sells these delicately daffy creations at $48 a pop. So. High fashion statement, or overrated indie indulgence? I'm still thinking about it.
